“A Green Retreat near Pune City.”

This Resort is just 15 km. from the city of Pune, but once you reach there it is as if you have traveled far away from the noise and bustle of the city. It is located just outside the city limits at Wagholi. As you travel down towards Ahmednagar on the Pune-Nagar Road, about 3 km after passing the Mundhwa crossing, you will see a sign board of 'Choki Dhani' on the right. Take a U-turn and go down this lane for about 2 km till you reach the gates of 'Dhole Patil College' and enter the resort.
The rooms are located at the end of the lane on the right. They are well furnished and have ac and a balcony with a sit-out. The grounds are clean and green, and there is a small lake with an island in the centre. They also have a conference hall, amphitheatre, party lawns, and a multi-cuisine restaurant and bar.
We did not spend the night at the resort, but we had lunch at their restaurant, and quite enjoyed the open air ambiance of the restaurant. The restaurant is open from all sides and they don't have an ac section, but being open from all sides there is a cool breeze at all times.
Their tandoori dishes are excellent. We ordered a platter of 'Mila Jula Kebabs' with nan, roti, onion salad, and green mint chutney. The meat was succulent and well marinated and we liked the different tastes of the variety of kebabs.
There is sufficient parking around the restaurant and near the rooms at the resort.
