Taste Of India.
Our Air-B&B host dropped us at the Ladner Shopping Centre for some shopping on the day we checked in to her home in Vancouver. Here we found this nice Indian restaurant called ‘Doon Express’ from where we picked up a take away lunch of Veg Korma, and Dal (pulses in an Indian gravy), along with some Rotis (Indian flatbread made in a tandoori oven).
We liked the taste of the food so much that we returned in the evening to get another dish, ‘Bhendi Masala’ (Okra in spices), with some more Rotis for dinner. The food was mildly spiced and really tasty and we enjoyed our meals. We placed the dinner order by phone and they had it ready when we went to pick it up after an hour. Prices were very reasonable and cheaper than most other restaurants in the area for a filling meal.
